Spa Policies

At Serenity Day Spa our guests and staff are of the utmost regards to us. We feel it important to have equal value of our staff as we do our clients. We are committed to ensuring that your spa experience is enjoyable and relaxing. Our policies have been set to be fair and transparent, to guarantee your ultimate satisfaction.

Privacy Policy

Your Data Is Secure

We value your privacy. The information you provide us on your intake is confidential and securely stored in MassageBook. We use the information you provide us to help determine what services may be best suited for you. We store your credit card information on Square, a trusted third party affiliate. 

Your information such as findings and treatment would only be shared, with your permission, with your other healthcare professionals.
 

Cancelation / Rescheduling Policy

As your therapist I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for therapists’ time, I have adopted the following regarding Cancelation, Rescheduling and No-Show policies: 

  1. I understand that my therapist is self-employed, and as such their time is as valuable as mine.

  2. A minimum of 24 business hours advance notice is required when rescheduling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment during that time slot. Weekends do not count toward the 24 hour notification.​​​​​​​

  3. A gift card or credit card on file is required to book an appointment. All cards on file are added to the system via a secure electronic process that ensures the information is encrypted and remains secure. If you are unable to give your therapist at least 24 hours of advance notice you may be charged 50% for your first missed appointment, any further missed appointments will be charged a minimum of 50% for the service scheduled and up to the full amount..

  4. No-Call / No-shows - Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment with no contact, will be considered a “no-show”. Again, we understand things happen, however you will be charged the full amount (100%) of your scheduled service.

  5. Gift Certificates - If you are scheduling your appointment due to receipt of a gift certificate and you cancel or reschedule with 24 business hours or less, you will forfeit 1/2 of the value of your gift certificate. If you No Call/No-Show you forfeit the entire amount of your gift certificate. 

  6. Arriving late - Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session, however we will do our best to satisfy the scheduled time.

 

  • Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan your visit accordingly. Please arrive 5-10 min early.

Your Rights and Responsibilities
as a Spa Guest

To enjoy your spa experience to the fullest, observe the Code of Conduct, act responsibly and be aware that common sense and personal awareness can help ensure your satisfaction, comfort and safety, as well as that of others.

As a spa guest, it is your responsibility to:

  • Communicate your preferences, expectations and concerns.

  • Communicate complete and accurate health information and reasons for your visit.

  • Treat staff and other guests with courtesy and respect.

  • Use products, equipment and therapies as directed.

  • Adhere to the spa’s published policies and procedures.

 

As a spa guest, you have the right to:

  • A clean, safe and comfortable environment.

  • Stop a treatment at any time, for any reason.

  • Be treated with consideration, dignity and respect.

  • Confidential treatment of your disclosed health information.

  • Trained staff who respectfully conduct treatments according to treatment protocols and the spa’s policies and procedures.

  • Ask questions about your spa experience.

  • Information regarding staff training, licensing and certification.

Customer Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you are not satisfied with any service you received here, please notify us within seven days of your appointment.

 

Gratuity

Gratuity is not expected, but greatly appreciated. Each therapist has a QR code to tip them directly should you choose.

 

Late Arrival for Appointment

If you are late for an appointment, your treatment will end on time so that the next appointment may begin as scheduled. Should this happen, your service will be charged in full.

 

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone demonstrating behavior that is perceived to be inappropriate or disruptive to our Spa atmosphere.

 

No Refunds or Returns, all sales are final.

Prices

Prices and services are subject to change at any time.

 

Gift Cards

Gift cards are not refundable or redeemable for cash and may not be used for gratuities. Promotional or discounted gift cards cannot be used towards Spa packages, Spa or Sauna memberships, Himalayan Salt products, introductory or one-month unlimited Sauna sessions, or other specials.

 

Children

To ensure the safety of children and the enjoyment of all clients, we ask that parents or guardians make other arrangements for their children while they are receiving services. Children under 16 can receive Spa services, however they must be accompanied by an adult at all times until the age of 16. Children under the age of 18 must have a parental consent on file to receive massage services.

 

Food/Beverages

Please be advised that no outside food or alcoholic beverages may be brought to the Spa. Water, Hot Coco, Coffee, Tea and snacks are provided for you to enjoy while at the Spa.
